Compassionate Psychotherapy for

Healing and Growth

About

Meet Your Therapist

I'm Nayfitd Simons, LCSW/LICSW

I’m a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW/LICSW) with years of experience supporting individuals and families
through trauma, anxiety, depression, and life stress. I bring not only professional expertise but also personal
understanding—I’ve walked through my own difficult experiences and know how transformative healing can be.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in proven therapies like TF-CBT, DBT, CPT, Narrative
Therapy, and Play Therapy. I also serve as a therapist and clinical supervisor at the award-winning WJCS
Trager Lemp Center for Trauma and Resilience, where I train other professionals in trauma-informed care.

I’m here to offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you can feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow.  Whether you're feeling overwhelmed or simply ready for a change, I’ll meet you where you are.

Treatment

Specializing in Trauma, Anxiety,  Depression and Relationship Stress

Trauma

I help clients process complex trauma and PTSD using evidence-based approaches like TF-CBT, CPT, and Narrative Therapy. You’ll move at your own pace, with a focus on safety, emotional regulation, and long-term
healing.

Anxiety

Whether it shows up as panic, constant worry, or difficulty managing daily tasks, anxiety can be overwhelming.  I use CBT and DBT tools to help reduce symptoms and improve your quality of life.

Depression

If you’re feeling numb, hopeless, or exhausted, you’re not alone. Therapy can help you reconnect with yourself and others, find meaning, and move toward feeling better.

Life Transitions

Changes like becoming a parent, starting a new career, or grieving a loss can be disorienting. I help clients adjust and find clarity during these difficult moments.

Relationship Stress

I support individuals and couples navigating communication issues, conflict, or disconnection. Together, we’ll build insight, emotional safety, and healthier ways of relating.

Therapy Services

I offer Individual, Family and Couples Therapy.  Sessions are tailored to meet the unique challenges of each situation.

Services are available virtually and in person.
